Interracial Dating: Black and Asian Relationships
My video was a response to “Black and Asian Relationships Pt. 2 (Parental view)” by sheltonville who has closed his account. Proof of its existence can be seen in my video log). The video asked why it is okay for an Asian American to date a European American but not an African American, partially in reference to a third video (Broken Affinity) which can be found here: www.youtube.com In this video, an Asian American girl’s parents disapprove of her dating an African American guy, but are okay with her dating what appears to be a Latino or European guy. My opinion is absent because (frankly) I think it’s stupid to date (or not date) based on race; how counterproductive is that? I just wanted to tell what some of my research has said (not just random surveys, but scientific psychological studies) on the subject of interracial dating. I thought that it would be beneficial to post what I found to be a more valid and rational explanation which applied to all races regardless of gender, not just Asian American women.
