how to advertise a senior dating site in UK?

Hi all, I have a dating site fiftydate.co.uk, targeted on mature singles from the UK. I’ve already started PPC, but no results so far :( . Is it reasonable to open a blog and post some tips, advice there?

I’ve also looked through some of the sites that offer dating traffic, the prices vary from 3+ dollars for 1 thousand clicks, seems very cheap, but is it worth that?

    If you are looking to buy traffic, I don’t know if it would help since it’s not targeted audience. Build a blog, more blogs and link to the dating sites.
